- We enjoyed very much living in this street with its market, the friendly local people and its closeness to the centre of paris (usually by walking rue Monge or travelling on the Metro). We had a problem with the telephone answering machine; we did not know how it operated until the second last day when Roy dropped by and explained it to us. - This beautiful apartment was ideally situated for our family of four. Our host met us at the door and gave us a quick and thorough orientation. My husband and sons (18 and 16) all play American football and are not little people, but we were very comfortable during our stay. The pull out bed fit them well. The location was fabulous. Markets, the quintessential french bakery, cheese shops, butchers, restaurants, bars, and people were right outside the courtyard door of the main building on Rue Mouffetard, but we never heard a thing. We will definitely be returning and recommending this special jewel in the city to EVERYONE we know going to Paris. I would not recommend this for families with toddlers, there were stairs. (Jeff S.
